This Morning was being presented by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, and they ended up having a bit of an argument live on television.
The couple welcomed former Star Wars actor and Tenable presenter, Warwick Davis, who was there to discuss the upcoming celebrity special of his ITV gameshow.
However, it wasn’t long before things descended into chaos and viewers branded the segment as “painful”.
Warwick was attempting to play a game of Tenable with the This Morning presenters, yet Ruth and Eamonn decided to have a bit of an argument while playing the game.
“Shhh! I’m captain!” said Eamonn who was annoyed with Ruth and his teammates.
Ruth then retaliated: “Don’t shush me just because you’re the captain!”
Warwick followed that up with a joke, saying: “As you can see every expense has been spared here.”
He then added: “And look at this,” as he started to wobble the desk in front of him.
Viewers took to Twitter to complain about the segment which one person calling it a “car crash”.
One viewer wrote: “Oh what car crash is this #thismorning.”
In a clip which the ITV programme shared on Twitter with their 8,000 followers, the pair could be seen having an odd conversation, Holly telling Phillip Schofield, 57: “You’re a dispenser of words, I’m a dispense of children!”
Starting to laugh as she realised how her comment sounded, she soldiered on: “We all dispense something!”
Shooting the camera a stunned look, Phillip exclaimed: “Is that what you are? You’re a child dispenser?
“That’s it? That’s the thing? That’s what you are?” he asked, laughing.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
