While neither guest on Good Morning Britain were happy with the current deal laid out by Prime Minister Theresa May, they each had different reasons.
While JD Wetherspoon owner Tim Martin explained how he doesn’t agree with the £39 million charge, Geeta disagreed with the entire process of Brexit.
She brought up the infamous bus which claimed the NHS was losing money to the European Union, and pinned the blame solely on former UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
However Susanna Reid jumped in to the conversation to point out some facts to the owner of Nosh Detox.
As Geeta listed her complaints, host chimed in: “Yes but politicians lie to us all the time!”
As the debate continued surrounding Nigel Firage’s involvement in Brexit Geeta added: “I just think he [Nigel Farage] needs to be obliterated on every level.”
Tim laughed and said: “That’s a bit harsh!”
Susanna was a little surprised by this comment as well and hit back: “Well that’s a bit dramatic.
“And to be fair to Nigel Farage it wasn’t his bus!”
Greta later went on to explain that she is all for a second referendum to stop Brexit.
The entrepreneur, who earlier cited currency inflation as the cause of her business’ woes, explained: “I honestly don’t want it. Brexit was responsible.”
Giving final words to the debate, Geeta exclaimed: “Just stop. Just stop.
“If [Brexit] doesn’t come into effect it’s fine.”
However Tim was all for the Brexit, but wants the Prime Minister to alter the deal.
He said: “Theresa, cut the tariffs. Don’t pay £39million. Don’t agree to chequers – we’ll all be happy.”
Yesterday saw Piers Morgan taking on Alastair Campbell in a heated Brexit exchange.
Piers told him: “You don’t ignore the referendum.
“You can’t just dismiss it. The will of the people can change.”
But Alastair said he was addressing the referendum, and added: “But if her deal gets defeated by parliament what should you do then?”
He went on to offer an ultimatum of his own, saying: “It’s her deal or no deal.”
Alastair appeared on the morning show to promote the latest volume of his book.
During the interview he spoke about Gordon Brown calling a woman “bigoted” during his last campaign, to which he called it: “A horrible, horrible, horrible moment.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
