Injustice 2 new character REVEAL – John Constantine or Rorschach for Fighter Pack 3?

Injustice 2 players are getting a new character heading to Fighter Pack 3, with John Constantine or Rorschach potential additions to the roster.

Constantine and Rorschach have been rumoured as coming to Injustice 2 ever since NetherRealm revealed the first Fighter Pack 3 character in October.

Fighter Pack 3 character Atom will be arriving in Injustice 2 after Hellboy, the final piece of Fighter Pack 2, arrives on the PS4, Xbox One and PC game.

While Atom has been confirmed, that leaves two spots left in the Fighter Pack 3 line-up.

It’s been rumoured that either Constantine, Rorschach, Spawn or Enchantress could fill up those remaining slots.

And now fans will get confirmation on one of the new characters heading to Injustice 2 during a big upcoming announcement.

The official Injustice 2 Twitter account posted a teaser picture that gives a big clue to fans about what DC character is heading to the game next.

The picture show Black Manta on the ground in front of a leaking oil drum, with the flammable liquid perilously close to a lit cigarette.

As Comicbook.com points out, while there are a number of smoking superheroes – most of them prefer a cigar to a cigarette.

Apart from John Constantine, with his love of smoking cigarettes one of his defining character traits.

A user on the Injustice 2 Reddit page has also claimed to have seen the full trailer for the Fighter Pack 3 reveal.

And they said the trailer ends with Constantine picking up the lit cigarette from the floor.

They said: “Desperately searching for it now, but there was a “leak” posted on Twitter by someone claiming to be an animator on the trailer who said that it begins showing Black Manta on the ground with his eye lights flickering and ends with Constantine picking up a cigarette flicked in his direction by Atom.

“Either way, I’ve lost all hope for Rorschach and Spawn.”

While the expectation is John Constantine is coming to Injustice 2, the cigarette could just be a curveball from NetherRealm.

So a possible Rorschach or Spawn reveal still isn’t out of the question.

Either way, we don’t have long to find out for sure.

The Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 3 reveal will take place at the Injustice 2 World Championships.

The announcement will take place at 10pm ET on Friday, which for Injustice fans in the UK is 3am GMT on Saturday.

The Injustice 2 news comes after it was revealed that Matt Ryan will be reprising his role of John Constantine and making a return to the Arrowverse.

The occult detective will be appearing in a two-part storyline during season 4 of TV show Legends of Tomorrow.

Executive producer Phil Klemmer recently said: “Having Matt Ryan reprise his iconic — dare we say legendary — role of John Constantine on Legends is something that [executive producer] Marc [Guggenheim] and I have been working toward since season one, and now the stars have finally aligned.

“While we are working to finish our 2017 Arrow-verse crossover, which is no joke the most ambitious bit of network TV that four shows have ever had the audacity and insanity to endeavour, we were looking for a way to make an equally exciting 2018 return.

That’s how we came up with Matt Ryan.”

Ryan has also been teasing the return of John Constantine.

In a recent Twitter post, he shared a picture of the shadow he cast dressed as Constantine with the caption: “Out of the shadows….#Constantine @TheCW_Legend”.ror
