I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was on ITV this evening and it saw Nick Knowles leave the competition.
Nick then had a chat with Holly Willoughby and Dec Donnelly about their time in the camp.
“When I came in here I wanted to see whether a group of people would come in here and be friends,” he told Holly and Dec.
He continued: “It wasn’t so much taking charge for me, it was more I’d done more stuff in the wild than they had.”
“They’re just all brilliant in there now.”
“Everybody gave everybody else enough space to be themselves.”
“The moment you gave the pillow, the country melted,” interjected Dec.
“Who’d have ever thought that after that album came out I’d get such a panning,” joked Nick.
“It’s ridiculous but also fantastic. It’s a thing I’ve ticked off in my life.
“Maybe you could collaborate,” joked Holly.
“Yeah, maybe the country’s suffered enough,” Nick finished.
Dec then asked Nick who he thought would win the show, to which he answered: “I think it would have to be Fleur or Harry. Fleur or Harry to win.”
Nick also used his exit interview to voice his support for the police force, the fire service, the NHS and all the service men and women who do a great job in the UK.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Wtf was that about Nick? Hate it when people hijack a show for own political agenda.”
Another said: “Nice gesture but slightly confused by the whole public services and NHS crack from Nick.”
However, other viewers appreciated his supportive words.
One viewer said: “Admire @MrNickKnowles so much encouraging all the public to SUPPORT the police & all emergency service workers.”
Another added: “Y’all are weird getting mad at nick for preaching and raising awareness to support our emergency services on a show he knows a lot of people are watching, literally how is that bad.”
One viewer wrote: “Why does Fleur keep doing trials? Can someone else do it.”
“Fleur annoys me. Why didn’t she just let Emily do it,” added another.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV.
