The Coronation Street actress – who plays Fiz Brown in ITV soap – is rumoured to be joining the hotly-anticipated line-up as she touched down at Brisbane Airport.
The 33-year-old looked very excited but also nervous as she strolled through the terminal pushing her luggage.
Wearing a floral-print shirtdress, Jennie appeared fresh-faced and make-up free following the long haul journey Down Under.
Her arrival comes after it was reported she has signed up for the show in order to pay off her Manchester tearoom’s debts.
The soapstar bought Annie’s tea shop in 2012 along with her husband Chris Farr but it’s alleged business hasn’t been going well.
A source explained to the Mirror: “As a big soap star, Jennie has managed to negotiate a big fee to go into camp.
“She has always been determined to make Annie’s a success so it would be no surprise to see her put some more money into the business.
“It has been a tough year and even Jamie Oliver is having to close restaurants.”
Following Jennie’s arrival, The Saturdays singer Vanessa White was also spotted in Oz yesterday.
Vanessa and Jennie are just two of the number of celebrities who have travelled to the other side of the world for the ITV reality show.
Elsewhere, Amir Khan was seen making his way through the airport while Made in Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo also made an appearance Down Under.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! begins this Sunday on ITV.
