The 44-year-old radio presenter made the shock confession to hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in his exit interview.
He revealed to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! presenting duo: “You tried to kill me twice. when I was going to jump off at the start, I asked how far will I fall and you went, ‘Not that far’. So I thought I would just hang in mid-air.”
Iain continued: “Then the other one was when I was doing the underwater task.
“You said, if you’re underwater and you want to get out, ‘Do that’’,” he explained as he made a slash across the neck motion to signal ending the task.
He went on to say: “So ‘I’m under water and doing this,” as he motioned again and explained that he was being ignored.
“We had the wrong shot. We were looking at eels,” Ant, 42, quipped to the broadcaster.
Reflecting on his overall experience of the ITV reality TV show, Iain said: “I nearly walked on my third day.
“Then they said you don’t get paid. I thought I ought to stick this one out. The trials weren’t that hard.”
He added: “For me it’s just about being around lots of people. I’m so socially awkward.
Iain had a tough stint in the Jungle after he felt isolated and appeared to become somewhat of a pariah in the wake of “strawberrygate”.
Viewers were also left fuming by his apparent treatment on the show with claims of “bullying”.
He said that he felt quite disheartened when his fellow campmates told him they thought he was “playing a game” in a bid to win the show.
“That really upset me when they said I was playing a game I couldn’t randomly have chosen immunity,” Iain said.
Despite seemingly not getting on with contestants Amir Khan and Dennis Wise, Iain confirmed he did have “any beef” with the rest of the stars.
This evening saw Made In Chelsea star Georgia “Toff” Toffolo get crowned the Queen of the Jungle after getting the most number of public votes.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is available to watch on the ITV Hub.
