The latest instalment of the ITV series saw the jungle campmates finally meet new arrivals Iain, 44, and MSP Kezia Dugdale, 36.
But the atmosphere turned frosty almost instantly when the entire camp chose to side with Kezia during the pair’s battle to become the Prime Minister of 10 Downing Creek, which Iain won.
Later, viewers then cemented their view of the comedian when he intervened with Stanley’s attempts to assist Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, 33, with the cooking for the evening.
“If Stanley don’t like Iain then I don’t like Iain #imaceleb,”(sic) one person wrote.
Another viewer posted: “Stanley’s political knowledge will definitely put Iain in his place #ImACeleb @imacelebrity.”
“#imaceleb WHO THE F**K DOES IAIN THINK HE IS CHATTING S**T TO STANLEY F**K OFF MATE,” a third angrily agreed.
Some people were unimpressed with both of the newest contestants, as one fan added: “Not a fan of these two newbies In I’m a Celeb.”
Realising that Jennie had to cook for the entire six campmates at Croc Creek, Stanley had earnestly wanted to help, despite Iain’s declaration that it was against the rules.
“I hope you enjoy your period in office. I very much doubt it will be a long one,” Stanley told him.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Boris Johnson’s father continued to reveal his unhappiness with the situation, adding: “Remember, he’s not Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he’s Prime Minister of 10 Downing Creek.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
