I'm A Celebrity 2017: Are these stars set to strike up a romance? 'Anything can happen'

YouTube star Jack Maynard is the youngest celebrity to be taking part on this year’s series and has confessed that striking up a romance wouldn’t be the best idea but he is open to a jungle fling.

“Where I am in my life right now and all the work I am doing, getting into a relationship would be a poor decision,” he explained.

But the 22-year-old added: “What happens in the jungle stays in the jungle apart from all the people watching it. But to be in a place for such a long time with a group of people… Anything can happen.”

Comedian Shappi Khorsandi, 44, also stated that she is happy with her current relationship status but like Jack, isn’t averse to a holiday romance.

“I am really happily single,” she said. “But never say no to a bit of love.”

Meanwhile, former Saturdays singer Vanessa White, is also open to starting a relationship after breaking up with boyfriend of six years Gary Salter earlier this year.

The 28-year-old teased: “Who knows? I am keeping my options open.”

And, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, 42, said that while he doesn’t know what is in store for him, he won’t rule out getting close to another camp mate.

“That’s the whole enjoyment of life and the element of surprise,” he replied when asked if he was looking for love.

The father-of-three went on to add that he will miss his children when he takes part but wants to make them proud.

“I only told them a few days before I went away but they do love the show and one of the reasons for doing this is to make them proud,” Jamie explained.

“They’ve only seen their Dad as a bad man on TV and so it will be nice for them to see me on this.”

The final singleton heading into the jungle this year is Georgia Toffolo, 23, who is determined to prove she isn’t “ditzy”.

The Made in Chelsea star kept her lips tightly shut regarding a romance but said she would miss calling her grandmother every day.

With each singleton open to finding love, who can viewers expect to spark romance rumours first?
