The presenting pair continued their running joke about former footballer Dennis Wise’s height, but the situation took an unfriendly turn.
Ant was fuming that Dec could not understand that he is the exact same height as the former footballer, prompting the latter to try and prove otherwise.
Presenting a tease from the previous VT, Ant said: “So Fright Club has another two recruits. Vanessa [White] and Dennis.”
Dec replied in jest: “And he’ll make a great spy. Do you know why? Because nobody will be able to see him? He’s a very small man!”
Slapping Dec’s shoulder before firmly clutching him Ant shook his pal and sad: “Now, I told you yesterday and I’ll tell you again today. You are the same height as Dennis Wise!”
Abruptly pulling his co-host as Ant pointed his finger in Dec’s face, he chirped: “Yeah, now, I thought you’d start all this again. Just, can I? May I? Come over here!”
Dragging Ant across the studio floor, Dec stood next to a TV screen that was broadcasting Dennis live from camp.
Dec forced Ant to see that “little Dennis Wise” was a small man on the TV, but even smaller than “small man” Dec who also appears on TV screens.
“I am clearly bigger than him!” protested Dec to co-host Ant, as the joke continued to amused viewers.
It comes as Georgia “Toff” Toffolo gagged after Amir Khan blew liver in her face.
