I’m A Celebrity 2017: Amir Khan SCREAMS at horrific snake gaffe in first Bushtucker Trial

In a teaser from tonight’s instalment, the pair look terrified as they come face-to-face with all manner of creatures in Critter-Cal Rescue.

The boxer is seen crawling along a dark tunnel where he must retrieve tokens from hidden boxes in order to win meals for camp.

However, the 30-year-old’s fear is impossible to miss as he nervously warns himself and hosts Ant and Dec: “Okay, I’m putting my hand in now. I’m putting my hand in.”

In the first compartment, Amir has to deal with an angry crab and soon exclaims: “Argh! There’s something inside.”

WHO WILL WIN I’M A CELEBRITY 2017?

Declan Donnelly urges: “Move onto the next one, the next one to the left,” when he sees him struggling.

But the next box has a snake in it and, in a hurry to get to the end, Amir accidentally pulls it out instead of the star in a terrifying encounter.

The presenters gasp in horror before breaking down in giggles at the light-welterweight world champion, who screams in horror at what he has just picked up.

“Look I can’t do it, man. I can’t do it. What’s in here?” Amir repeatedly says, however proceeds reluctantly.

Meanwhile, his Made In Chelsea companion is sat in a tiny box while surrounded by creepy crawlies. “They’re in my knickers,” the 23-year-old shouts out.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
