Holly Willoughby's co-host Phillip Schofield REPLACED by Ore Oduba on This Morning

The 30-year-old star will join Holly Willoughby presenting the daytime TV show from its London studios on Thursday.

The switch is just a temporary one while Phillip is away fulfilling other commitments.

Ore hosted the show with Holly, 35, back in November and received rave reviews from fans.

The BBC Sport presenter told the Sun: “I can’t thank This Morning enough for welcoming me back, and Phillip for letting me warm his seat again.”

“I had a fantastic time with Holly and the team back in November, I can’t wait to get back in the studio.”

A show insider added: “Ore doesn’t hide how much he loves This Morning, and viewers appeared to love him hosting alongside Holly last time.”

Phillip has previously joked that he would “kill” Ore if he took his slot on the ITV sofa permanently.

At the weekend, his co-host Holly said she owed “everything” to Phillip, who put her forward for the This Morning gig.

Speaking to iN10, Holly said: “There’s no way I would even have been considered for This Morning if it hadn’t been for Phil.

“I know for a fact that he was the one that mentioned me. He pushed for me to get the job in the first place.”

This Morning continues weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
