Hocus Pocus: Bette Midler SLAMS upcoming TV remake – ‘It’s going to be CHEAP’

The 1993 Halloween movie is a cult classic for movie fans and now it’s getting a TV remake.

However the 71-year-old actress is not exactly happy with the announcement, slamming the decision last night.

Midler appeared at the New York Restoration Project’s Hulaween party – which she hosts – and revealed her dismay at a Hocus Pocus remake.

Speaking with People, she said: “I know it’s cheap. It’s going to be cheap!”

The most famous is Vinessa Shaw, who played Allison in Hocus Pocus.

The 40-year-old said of the film: “I don’t think any of us had any idea of the magnitude of how popular it would be.

“It just goes to show that when you are young you watch things over and over again and it gets in your head, and just sticks.”
