Hilarious moment BBC news report is interrupted by VERY curious lemurs

The presenter was trying to deliver a story from Banham Zoo in Norfolk when the animals decided to launch an attack on him.

The video of his attempts made in onto Twitter where it was widely shared.

Eight of the primates took a shine to the unsuspecting reporter who was bombarded with attention from them.

They excitedly ran around him, jumping on his arms, legs, and back as he groaned “this could take some time.”

In their enthusiasm, they also managed to bite Alex.

One eager lemur had a nibble of his finger as the BBC Look East presenter could be heard cursing: “Ow! You little ****.”

Although, he was able to see the funny side as he joked: “Well I think this is one of the more enjoyable parts of the job: counting lemurs.”

Alex also took to Twitter to comment on the rib-tickling footage later in the day.

“Give our BBC online team an inch and they’ll take a country mile,” he claimed.

However, Alex was also able to confirm that while he may have walked away with a few minor injuries, the lemurs remained unscathed.

He wrote: “No lemurs were hurt in the making of this movie.”
