Hellboy reboot FIRST LOOK: Stranger Things’ David Harbour as you’ve never seen him before

After much speculation last year, director Guillermo del Toro revealed he and Ron were seeking to complete their Hellboy trilogy.

However after discussions, it became clear that was never going to happen, because a gritty R-rated reboot was being planned – following the success of adult superhero movies Deadpool and Logan.

Titled Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, Stranger Things’ David Harbour has been cast as the demon superhero.

Now the first images of him in his muscly red prosthetics have been revealed.

Since then, Lost star Daniel Dae Kim has been attached to the role.

Meanwhile Milla Jovovich has ben cast as Nimue, The Blood Queen and Ian McShane replaces the late John Hurt as Trevor Bruttenholm, Hellboy’s adoptive father.

Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen is for release in early 2019.
