The Channel 4 programme has signed up Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher, according to reports.
Known for gracing Wisteria Lane, the famous white tent in the English countryside may come as a shock.
Due to air in March, fans of the star will be seemingly able to see if Teri is as bad in the kitchen as her character Susan Mayer.
In one episode, Susan even served poisoned cookies by accident. What would Prue Leith think about that?
The 53-year-old is reportedly the first star to agree to Channel 4’s celebrity series of the show.
The broadcaster’s spin-off will form part of their Stand Up To Cancer’s charity event.
Loose Woman star Stacey Solomon, 28, is also reported to have signed up.
Comedian Lee Mack is also said to be taking part and have his efforts judged by Prue and Paul Hollywood.
A source said: “Teri is a bit of a left field choice, but Channel 4 are banking on her adding some real Hollywood glamour to Bake Off.
“As well as being a Golden Globe-winning actress, Teri is a keen baker and the fact she jetted all this way proves she’s serious about the competition.
They continued to the Sun: “It’ll be interesting to see what she makes of hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding, or if she recognises any of her opponents.”
Teri already has some experience under her belt and is a “self-confessed foodie”.
She won the celebrity edition of US cooking show Chopped in 2013.
Teri also fronts her own food and lifestyle series on YouTube.
It comes after former Bake Off judge Mary Berry revealed her fellow judges for her new show Britain’s Best Cook.

The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 later this year.
