The British popstar has quietly spent the past year developing her acting career and she is sure to set pulses racing after landing a starring role in the comedy-drama.
Kate plays Rhonda Richardson in the show, which is based on the real-life Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling – the outlandish wrestling competition which was a huge hit in the 1980s.
And in episode four of the TV series, the 29-year-old will certainly leave a lasting impression as she removes her shirt and exposes her bare breasts.
Her character oozes confidence as she casually reveals all in front of her roommate and shows off off her ample assets in all their glory.
The talented star – who catapulted into the limelight with her hit song Foundations in 2007 – portrays an intellectual former model who is known as Brittanica in the ring.
The 1980s-set show follows struggling actress Ruth Wilder (played by Alison Brie) who finds her last chance for stardom in Los Angeles and becomes a female wrestler called Zoya the Destroya.
The show serves as a homage to the original GLOW series and tells the story of their rise and fall, which went on to become an international hit.
But despite her debut role in the major TV show, Kate has no plans to quit the music industry.
“I’ve got a lot of the songs pretty much ready, it’s just a case of deciding when to release the album, and that does depend on GLOW and if we get season two. But I have to get it out by February because of the kickstarter,” she revealed to Radio Times.
Glow is available to watch on Netflix now.
