Warning: This article could potentially contain spoilers for Game of Thrones season eight.
Fans of the HBO hit have been spreading their theories on how the popular show will end.
Many believe it will be the result of Azor Ahai, or the Prince Who Was Promised.
The legendary character is thought to be the one who can save Westeros from the inevitable White Walker invasion.
Plenty of speculation has lead fans to believe that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) will be that figure.
And if true, it could mean bad news for new lover Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) who must die in order for the creation of Lightbringer – a powerful sword.
Now, a picture has emerged online which purports to be from filming, which is well underway.
It hasn’t been confirmed whether it is a real picture or not, but one account on Instagram has suggested it is the moment Azor Ahai is confirmed.
The blurry snap suggestively shows Jon and Daenerys relatively close to each other talking.
gameofthrones_updates writes: “A leaked photo shows Dany and Jon standing in a confused position, the one who leaked it out claims he work for HBO and says, ‘Jon and Dany were kissing but then Jon takes a step back and shoves his sword through Dany’s heart and this is how Azor Ahai is reborn’.”
The account goes on to suggest that HBO would be likely to post fake pictures anyway, and given the unverified nature of the picture, it certainly could be a false lead.
But nevertheless, the picture has certainly reignited conversation about who the true Azor Ahai is.
