Fortnite players have been told the Jetpack launch has been pushed back because of a “last minute design change”.
At the start of this week Fortnite players logging into Battle Royale online would have noticed that a new Jetpack item was being teased by Epic Games.
Not much was known about it, apart from the design and that it would let players “take the fight to all new heights”.
But Epic Games has now revealed in a post on the official Fortnite Reddit page that the launch of the Jetpack has been delayed.
It looks like the Jetpack was originally meant to launch in Fortnite this week, but instead new item arriving soon will be the Hunting Rifle.
The Fortnite team said: “This week’s new item is being changed from the Jetpack to the Hunting Rifle.
“We found a last minute design issue with the Jetpack that’s going to delay its launch and we’re working on correcting it.
“The Jetpack will lift off at a later time.
“Meanwhile, you’ll be able to enjoy lots of no-scopes with the new Hunting Rifle item and a new, lucky point of interest on the map.”
