Fortnite Shop TODAY: New Leaked Season 6 skins news and item update

Today will see a new range of Fortnite skins released as part of the Halloween season.

The latest cosmetics and designs come directly from Epic Games, who have been getting in the spirit of the holiday.

Sunday mornings is one of the days Epic Games has designated for new skins to be launched as part of the Fortnite item shop.

And there’s no reason to believe that today will be any different.

A horde of new outfits having been leaked earlier this month, all of which will be coming to Fortnite during season 6.

The October 14 update will include the significant shop refresh, which will likely include at least one skin that has already leaked.

A steady stream of leaks has been released by data miners in October, with the new outfits launching in the coming weeks.

And one of these new designs could be part of today’s release, although there’s probably a few we don’t know about yet.

It’s almost impossible to say which of the new Fortnite season 6 skins will be part of the shop update, with no hints pointing to what could be included.

We can rule out the Heidi outfit (Epic) and Ludwig outfit (Epic), as they’ve already been released.

And there have already been some other massive skins released this week by Epic Games.

The Skull Range made its return this week, alongside the Skull Range and new item challenges.

These items were joined by the recently leaked Plague and Scourge skins, which come in the Epic ranking.

These retail for 1,500 V-Bucks each and are also part of a set that includes the Lamplight Glider.

This new item costs 800 V-Bucks and will likely be replaced soon by the new skins from October 14.

Earlier this month saw the debut of the Airheart outfit (Rare), which came with an assortment of add-ons.

There’s been plenty of new Halloween items added to the game files of late. Although these will probably be released closer to the holiday.

There is also a couple of sturdy looking robot designs which might be the next skins to debut.

Still awaiting release from the Halloween set, there are the Hollowhead and new Jack Gourdon cosmetics.

We don’t expect all of these new items to pop over the next few days as many of these designs are set to be released during the season.

Fans who aren’t interested in spending their real cash on cosmetics don’t have to worry about missing out on any in-game rewards.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, the stuff bought from the item shop does not provide bonuses.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about losing a fight with another player because they have paid for better gear.

The battle pass costs V-Bucks to buy and offer some of the best outfits in season 6.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

A special secret skin will also be released as part of the season 6 Hunting Party Challenge.

We’re only into week 3 of the battle pass, so we won’t find out what it is until nearer week 7 of season 6.

So fans can expect to hear more about it in November, with more surprises expected along the way.

Epic Games also look like they want to push hard on new Halloween content this year, so expect some major update on what they have planned soon.

This could be limited to skins, or might also include a big new event as we saw with High Stakes.
