Epic Games have been busy over the past few weeks getting their game ready for Halloween.
And newly leaked skins have revealed that plenty more spooky content is on the way.
Fans can expect a range of new outfits to go live this week in the Fortnite shop.
Today saw the launch of Hollowhead, while more have also been found in the most recent Fortnite update.
While other items, such as the Plague Glider, new pickaxes and a selection of new emotes were revealed by data miners, some of which have now debuted.
There are also hopes that some kind of in-game event or big update is being saved for Halloween itself.
Epic Games recently moved their update day from Tuesday to Wednesday. This will mean that an update will be released on Halloween.
It would give the development team the perfect cover to do something with the Floating Island, or just have some fun with the Fortnite map.
Perhaps a new Ghost Town or some other spooky content could go live on October 31, although fans will have to look out for clues.
There are also reports that a new Skull Trooper variant will be added to the game this month.
The new Skull gear went live in the item shop earlier this week and included a purple glow for those who have the original outfit.
Fans aren’t expecting anything too earth-shattering as its hoped that it will be the same skin, with a different colour tinge.
There’s no set release date for when this new content could be released by Epic Games, or how long fans will have to wait for it.
But it seems pretty likely it will pop up before October 31, unless the development team are saving it for the day itself.
Fortnite fans may have also been given their first look at the gifting system in Battle Royale.
The gifting system has been in the pipeline for ages, as Epic continues to tweak the feature before launch.
But a new leak on Twitter suggests the gifting feature is about to be released by Epic Games – perhaps with update 6.03.
Alleged footage of the feature in action has been posted on the Jaren Twitter page.
The clip – which can be seen below – shows Jaren selecting to purchase the item as a gift and then personalising the gift with a message.
It’s unclear if the footage is legitimate, but it looks like you can select recipients from your list of friends.
There also appears to be some kind of time restriction on the amount of gifts you can send.
