Hussein opened up to his date Molly on the Channel 4 show after she asked him who he lives with.
After Hussein explained he currently resides with his mother who he “loves to pieces”, he revealed he has two tattoos on his arm dedicated to his later father and sister who both died of cancer.
Talking to the camera, he said: “About five years ago my dad and my sister caught cancer so it was really difficult for me. I was young I was only 16.
“My dad only had a year to live, my sister three months to live, so going through that at 16 is the worst, you don’t understand it’s the worst. I remember just sitting in the corner crying, that’s all I was doing.
“I remember I had a chat with my brother. We spoke to each other and said ‘listen mum’s going through a lot she’s crying every day she’s lost her daughter and her husband, so now is the time for us to fix up’.”
And viewers watching at home rushed to social media to commend Hussein’s strength on going through such a traumatic time in his life at a young age.
