Fans don’t have long to wait until one of the world’s biggest games is released on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Proving to be a hit for EA Sports over the last few years, FIFA 19 will be just the latest launch in a long-running franchise.

The recent FIFA 19 closed beta included a bunch of new details for fans to look over, some of which were shared through official and unofficial channels.

And fans won’t have to wait long to try out the new content coming in 2019, with the official release date set for the end of September.

And news this week suggests that both the demo and full game will have some interesting in-game ratings for some of the world’s most prominent footballers.

Many of the teams expected to be featured in the upcoming FIFA 19 demo look have had their player ratings leaked.

And from what has appeared online, some of the new stats could prove controversial.

Despite approaching the twilight years of his career, the 33-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to keep his 94 rating.

Neymar, meanwhile, is widely expected to remain at 92, with Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale staying at 89.

World Cup star Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos have been given ratings that put themselves ahead of him, at 91.

And, regarding Manchester City, the screenshot shows De Bruyne given a huge 91.

Manchester United are another team that will be featured in the FIFA 19 demo and have also seen some changes in their ratings.

David De Gea was rated 90 on the last game but, after winning the Golden Glove last season, it looks like the Spain international is now at 91.

Ashley Young has gone from 75 to 80, while Jones has been upped from 79 to 80.

Chris Smalling stays at 81, but Antonio Valencia is now 82, down a notch from last year’s game.

Eric Bailly has plummeted from 84 to 82 – perhaps the result of regular injury problems – while Luke Shaw is at 78, down one.

Fans are hoping to find out more about the FIFA 19 demo release date before the end of August.

The demo usually launches around two weeks before the full game’s release, so something should be arriving in less than four weeks time.

Based on how EA Sports has handled past demo releases, we can expect the FIFA 19 version to arrive by September 14.

A mix of teams from the biggest leagues around the world are usually featured, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich counted among the usual crowd.

EA Sports haven’t confirmed what modes will be featured, but looking at past games it seems likely that offline mode will be the main focus.

There’s a chance that some Champions League action may also be thrown in, but this is purely speculation at this time.

Speaking about the new European feature, FIFA 19’s lead gameplay producer, Sam Rivera, provided more information on how career mode will work in line with it.

“In terms of Career Mode, we decided to make sure the experience with the Champions League was 100% authentic,” Riveri told GameSpot at Gamescom.

“When it’s Champions League day, everything changes–[there’s a] reskin. That was our highest priority.

“But we are listening to our fans. They’ve been requesting more stuff, bigger stuff, in terms of Career Mode [and] in terms of Pro ClubsThere are

e’s discussions right now to see what can be added in the future. We know it’s a very passionate community.

“At the moment, that’s all we’re announcing for those modes.

“We are actively having conversations, listening to [the community] to see what else we can bring to those modes.”
