After last weekend’s thrilling Bahrain Grand Prix the F1 circus is back with today’s race coming live from Shanghai.
Ferrari are once again proving tough competition with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen locking out the front row of the grid.
The two Mercedes will line up behind with Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton qualifying third and fourth in yesterday’s session.
Vettel has won the first two races of the 2018 season and Mercedes will be trying hard to stop that becoming a hat-trick.
Speaking about the challenge of beating the famous Italian team, Lewis Hamilton said: “Today just went away from us, Ferrari upped their pace throughout the weekend, probably not showing their true pace yesterday.
“The car doesn’t feel much different so I think they have just turned it up. Tomorrow is a completely different day, it is going to be hot tomorrow so it is going to be interesting to see how it works out for us – we have not experienced that temperature so far this weekend.”
“They are rapid at the moment, that is a challenge but we will give it everything we’ve got.”
