The former X Factor runner-up represented Finland in this year’s competition, with her acclaimed song Monsters.
But despite initial buzz earlier this year and a very positive reception on social media, she finished in 25th place out of 26 countries, one spot behind the United Kingdom’s SuRie.
It has also been revealed that she qualified from the semi-final stage by the skin of her teeth after finishing in tenth place.
Taking to Twitter, she hinted at more music plans – and more promotion of her album Wild Wild Wonderland, which hit No2 in her homeland.
“Thank you @eurovision for letting me be part of your history,” she said.
“It’s such a beautiful event with great energy and love that everyone should experience. All the contestants were super nice and talented and this year the winner was Israel’s super girl @nettabarzi.”
“I’m so proud of my song and my performance and felt amazing on stage. So happy to have met all those fans who are supporting #monsters and who said they’re listening to #wildwildwonderland when travelling home.
“Thank you all for helping me make my Dreams come true.”
She added: “Now I’m so ready for a new chapter in my life.
“Which door will open? Which mountain will I climb nexT? I’m empty and open for new things to come into my life. [Universe] bring it on!!
“I promise you we’re gonna have fun together.”
Wild Wild Wonderland, Saara’s LP, became a chart success in Finland earlier this month.
Monsters also peaked at No14 on the country’s singles chart.
