Eugenie Bouchard, 24, also known as Genie Bouchard, has attracted the attention of a company CEO after posting a strange pizza soy sauce food combination.
The gorgeous blonde tennis star is known for her bikini body, Instagram account with 1.7 followers and Sports Illustrated modelling career.
However, today she shocked her fans worldwide with the particularly unexpected food choice, posting a photo of a pizza slice being tipped into a tray of soy sauce.
She confidently captioned the picture: “Pizza dipped in soy sauce. I’m telling you.”
The post gained the attention of Kikkoman CEO, Mr Shimada, who tested out the pizza and soy sauce combination himself.
Kikkoman USA posted a hilarious video of the experiment. They captioned it: “Ignore the doubters.
“We tested this out and came to the conclusion that you are right (and also that you are indeed our spirit animal).”
Eugenie was clearly very excited by the call out, retweeting the video with the caption: “THIS IS AMAZING”.
However, her fans on Twitter weren’t so supportive of the tennis star’s food choices.
One wrote: “Hi Genie, I’d let you off for many things but this isn’t one,” while another said: “April 1st is next week lol but good try.”
Others tried to suggest their own favoured condiments for dipping pizza crusts.
One wrote: “In Mayonnaise is better,” while another wrote: “I’ll try it and it’s not bad but definitely better with jalapeno sauce.”
Food is clearly on Eugenie’s mind at the moment, as she also posted a photo of herself on her Instagram account captioned “When the reporter looking like a snack.”
Earlier this month, Eugenie revealed a shock truth about her identity on Instagram.
The Canadian tennis star, who has modelled for Sports Illustrated, surprised her fans this weekend when she revealed a secret about her identity.
The gorgeous blonde model took St. Patrick’s Day – an Irish holiday – as an opportunity to tell the world that she is, in fact, a quarter Irish.
In the post, she is pictured in Ireland holding a partly drunk pint of Guinness, a traditional Irish beer, while seated at a wooden bar at a pub.
