Before it all went 50 shades of grey, Paddy (played by Dominic Brunt) had taken Marlon Dingle’s (Mark Charnock) former date Lindsey out for a calm meal in the Woolpack.
But things soon took an erotic turn when Paddy decided to take Lindsey to his vet practice for some quality alone time.
As Paddy said some medical definitions to his date, Lindsey became all hot and bothered and admitted to him: “You’re dead sexy when you say that, I love medical words.”
The flustered brunette then made a move on Paddy and grabbed a dog collar to tie him to a rabbit cage.
As he stood with his arms attached to the cage, Lindsey also blindfolded the soap favourite who thought he was in for a fun night.
However, things turned sour when Lindsey went through his phone and found he had sent Marlon a picture of the two of them together to wind him up.
And the hilarity didn’t end there as when she abandoned him still tied to the cage, Paddy proceeded to drink from the rabbit’s animal water bottle.
Fans of the ITV soap immediately flocked to Twitter to share their comments on the amusing scene.
One person wrote: “Paddy tied to a cage by a dog collar, drinking the water for the rabbit, just the laugh I needed.”
Another said: “Paddy’s found himself in quite a dilemma! At least he has the rabbit’s water bottle to keep him hydrated. #Emmerdale.”
