Emmerdale aired an hour long special episode last week which focused solely on the Dingle family ahead of this week’s major storyline.
In upcoming episodes, the soap is going to show the aftermath of Cain’s (played by Jeff Hordley) confession.
But as the divide within the Dingle’s continues to grow in more ways than one, will Lisa (Jane Cox) and Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) be forced back to the Dales to sort out the mess?
It comes after yesterday’s instalment, when viewers tuned in to see Cain admit to Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) he had killed Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).
And as if that wasn’t enough to tear their relationship apart, this week Cain is set to make matters worse and upset a few more family members.
Official Emmerdale spoiler pictures have shown Cain trying to make a pass at ex-wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
As she arrives at the farm she is shocked to see the state of Cain and the house.
Worried for his wellbeing, she tries to talk some sense into her, but in a shock twist he mistakes her kindness for something more romantic and tries to kiss her.
Cain’s wife Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) is away from the village for a few days, but son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) had captured the whole scenario on his phone and doesn’t hesitate to show his mother what her husband has been up to whilst she was away.
She has experienced a terrible ordeal at the hands of her ex-boyfriend and psychopath Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson).
Having had several terrible things happen to herself and her family, Belle finally saw the killer sentenced for life.
And whilst she faced up to him and all his sinister crimes, she needs the support of her parents now more than ever.
Alongside that, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is at loggerheads with Jessie Dingle (Sandra Marvin).
It comes after cousin Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) married Jessie in a surprise Christmas Day wedding.

However, Chas is furious because Jessie’s son Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) gave her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) a hard time in prison.
Whilst Chas has temporarily mended the feud with Marlon following Paddy Kirk’s (Dominic Brunt) shock revelation, she is still mad at Jessie.
In addition, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) made her highly anticipated return to the village.
Whilst it was a short but sweet visit, the fan-favourite will be returning for much longer in the Spring and she has a secret to expose.
