Emmerdale viewers will see Kim Tate (played by Claire King) return to the Dales tonight, ahead of explosive scenes at Home Farm later in the week.
Whilst the iconic villain is back, she will demand the murder of Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in a dark new storyline.
Following her release from prison, Kim will secretly meet with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).
In a hushed conversation, Graham will fill Kim in on the recent events with Joe and he will tell her how Joe intends on marrying Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), without a prenup.
Dissatisfied with his news, Kim will demand Graham to get rid of Joe permanently, stating he is standing in the way of her plans.
But Graham is torn – do his loyalties lie with Joe or Kim?
Speaking at a recent Emmerdale press event, actress Claire explained how her character has been controlling the situation from afar.
“Kim has been pulling strings from prison with Graham and Joe,” she dished.
“[She] has been in control of them both, but now Joe has started going rogue.”
Will Graham have what it takes to murder Joe and how will he dispose of the body without causing suspicion?
In scenes airing this week, fans will also see Kim suffer a tragic fall – or was she pushed?
Spoiler pictures recently released by the soap show Kim lying in the ground, seemingly dead.
After crashing the masquerade ball, hosted by Joe at Home farm, Kim will fall from a balcony, crashing moments later onto the floor below.
But who is responsible for the push and is she really dead?
Whilst Kim’s return to the Dales is brief, there have been rumours suggesting this week’s drama opens up a new storyline for her to stick around.
If Joe is killed following Kim’s order, she could be extending her stay to take over Home Farm once again.
Elsewhere in the village, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is intent on getting revenge.
Following his acid attack earlier in the year, Ross will hunt down Simon McManus (Liam Ainsworth).
However, Moira Dingle (Natalie J.Robb) will stand in his way when she follows him to the lake.
Will she be able to talk Ross out of growing Simon?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
