Bernice White (played by Samantha Giles) will be left shaken when a difficult client of hers suddenly passes away in the beauty salon.
Busybody Mrs Dumphreys gets overly excited about the prospect of Bernice dating Daz Spencer (Mark Jordan) until she gets distracted when she relies he horse has won the races.
However, her celebratory cries soon come to an abrupt end as she dies before she chases in her winnings.
Later, Bernice is taken away by paramedics and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) finds Mrs Dumphreys’ winning ticket.
The drama comes after last night’s episode saw what appears to be the beginning of the end of the White family.
Viewers have been horrified by Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Lawrence White’s (John Bowe) faux romance, and they weren’t the only ones.
Just as they came close to kissing, Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) came bowling in to interrupt them.
“Get away from him,” he snapped to his father, blissfully unaware that he’s being played by his former son-in-law.
In turn, Lachlan gave Robert a chilling warning.
