Graham Foster (played by Andrew Scarborough) may go head-to-head with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) after he brought up his traumatic past during a heated row.
Emmerdale’s mystery man Graham could go after Joe, as the businessman taunted him about his daughter not being around.
Andrew hinted that there could be trouble between the pair when she insisted Joe should be “scared” of Graham.
He said: “I don’t think he (Graham) is against people taking revenge. It’s the way it is done, and it should be done right.
“If he thinks someone deserves something I think they will get it. I think that’s why Joe should be scared of him.”
Andrew went on to tell Metro.co.uk: “If you push it too much I don’t think you would want to be around to see Graham react to it.
“But at the same time he is clever about it and he doesn’t like involving sticky issues like love.”
It comes after reports claimed Graham is set to reveal details of his dark past to nemesis Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).
In an upcoming episode, Joe’s righthand man will reportedly open up to Debbie about his tragic life.
Speaking about the revelation, Andrew told the publication: “It certainly makes Debbie think. Graham’s past is a tragic one – this is a man who is carrying around a lot.
“It is now becoming obvious to the audience that Graham has been involved in traumatic scenes before.”
Last night’s episode of Emmerdale saw Graham rescue Joe from hammer-wielding Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
But shortly after Graham saved him from the ruthless Dingle, Joe mocked him about his daughter’s absence and in return Graham punched him.
The moment intrigued viewers, with many rushing to social media to comment on the intense exchange.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “So Graham had a daughter and then he punched Joe in the face. The mystery of Graham is about to be revealed.”
A second added: “Graham has a daughter, I’m interested to find out more about his past.”
