Stuart’s (Ricky Champ) behaviour has become a cause for concern for Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) but the ante will be upped when Tina makes a shock revelation on BBC soap EastEnders.
Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) is back in town next week but things quickly start to unravel when a traumatic memory resurfaces.
The programme has given viewers a preview of what to expect in a trailer of upcoming scenes.
Tina is seen telling an unknown figure: ”There was this thing that happened and last night in the club, it came flooding back.”
The footage then cuts to the pair of them seemingly at an eighties themed night in the E20 club as Stuart looks menacingly at troubled Tina.
In another scene, Tina can be heard saying: “He is going to pay.”
A previous trailer which gave audiences a preview of an explosive summer on the Square also hinted at the trouble to come.
In the video, Tina declared Stuart as “evil”.
The soap have also revealed: “Over at The Vic, Tina returns from visiting Zsa Zsa but a dark secret from her past involving Stuart soon comes to light and threatens to tear the family apart.
“As the shocking events unfold, loyalties will be questioned and the Carters go all out to protect their own…”
However, it remains to be seen what actually went on between the pair but it looks as though it was serious.
But the real question is, what will the family do to Stuart?
Mick has already potentially foreshadowed an ominous ending to the storyline in an episode aired a few weeks ago.
When Stuart returned to Mick’s life, the landlord knew he had a dark secret.
It turned out he was in fact a paedophile hunter who went about trying to expose predators.
Mick was left rattled by the admission but felt pressured into joining it – although it didn’t go to plan.
After Mick teamed up with his old friend on a bungled sting, he made an interesting comment the following day.
He told Callum “Halfway” Highway (Tony Clay): “I do love the geezer but I’m telling you, one day I’m going to end up killing him.”
Will Mick follow through on his prediction, and could it be for Tina?
EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
