EastEnders spoilers: Steven Beale and Max Branning CLASH in extremely tense BLACKMAIL plot

Steven (played by Aaron Sidwell) thought he was getting away with his spiral of lies until Max (Jake Wood) discovered his brain tumour deceit. 

After blackmailing him, the Branning tyrant is about to get a taste of his own medicine when he finds himself on the other side of the story. 

After Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) discovers Steven’s truth about the fake illness, he turns to Max for help.

Steven demands advice, saying he will reveal Max’s involvement should he not comply. 

However, the scheming villain doesn’t take well to the threat, demanding his name is never mentioned. 

Grabbing him by the scruff of the neck, Max means business – but will their clash result in a new world of trouble for Steven? 

This comes after things went from bad to worse for the troubled Beale after his affair with Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) looks set to be exposed. 

Planning to trap her man, Abi was seen grinning whilst holding up a positive pregnancy test during Friday’s instalment of the BBC soap. 

Already engaged to her sister, Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), is Abi about to put another spanner in Steven’s works?
