EastEnders spoilers: Phil Mitchell’s fate revealed as police swoop for Aidan Maguire?

In scenes airing tomorrow night, Ben Mitchell (played by Harry Reid) and Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) get a shock when the police turn up in Albert Square.

As the detectives make their enquiries and begin asking questions about suspicious activity in the area, Ben and Jay become nervous.

The pair deny any knowledge but are seemingly shocked when they are shown a picture of Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin).

Ben and Jay are left wondering what Phil (Steve McFadden) has been up to – but were they also secretly involved?

Earlier this week, the Walford gang found a dead body in a coffin instead of the hidden loot.

As the funeral parlour is run by Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), the gang headed to the cemetery to dig up another casket in order to retrieve the cash.

However, following the first blunder, the second casket was also discovered to be empty.

Police sirens began to sound in the background and the group fled from the scene – without Phil.

Many fans now believe Jay is the guilty culprit as he had access to the funeral parlour and could have easily been listening in to the plans.

Did Jay steal the heist money, and will viewers discover if Ben was involved alongside his friend?

continues tomorrow on at 8pm.
