The punch up, due to be broadcast tomorrow, will be a continuation from last night’s dramatic episode.
Carmel (played by Bonnie Langford) was left devastated after inviting the whole of Walford to the pub expecting Max (Jake Wood) to pop the question.
Kush (Davood Ghadami) and Shakil’s (Shaheen Jafargholi) mother even bought a new dress after finding Max’s engagement ring in a box in her house.
When Max came back to collect the ring, Carmel was certain he would propose that evening.
However, he kept Carmel waiting at the Queen Vic, and when he did finally arrive along with James Willmott-Brown (William Boyde), began to passionately kiss Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) in front of the shocked onlookers.
With the truth about Max’s deception and his involvement with James exposed, he now finds himself in a precarious position with the other residents.
When Kush learns that he has been using Carmel leaving her humiliated and heartbroken, he takes revenge and punches Max.
Could Max take it even further and see Kush banged up for GBH?
During the heated exchange, James revealed that he is the real owner who has been pressurising Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright) for restoration money for the pub.
Although the Queen Vic owners insisted they had raised and paid the £50,000, evil James insisted he had not received the funds, and that it had also gone up to £60,000.
Taking control of the pub, James then issued an eviction noticed to the landlords.
EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One at 8pm.
