EastEnders spoilers: Fears for pregnant Stacey Fowler CONFIRMED – will she lose her baby?

The truth came out in tonight’s dramatic instalment as Stacey (played by Lacey Turner) discovered that it was Carmel (Bonnie Langford) who dropped her in to social services.

Naturally, things were tense between the pair as the mother thought she could rely on Carmel’s help.

After suffering a headache earlier in the episode, and an impending visit from the social services, Stacey was not feeling her best.

It only took an explosive argument to push her over the edge and fans watched in horror as Stacey fell to the floor in a fit.

Fans flocked to Twitter to air their concerns for poor Stacey, with one posting: “Stacey’s having a preclamptic fit.”

Another added: “I really hope Stacey’s seizure doesn’t result in her losing the baby… Doesn’t she deserve some happiness?”

A third worried: “Poor Stacey though. She seems to get one life and baby threatening seizure per pregnancy.”

In next week’s episodes, Stacey will be rushed to hospital for an emergency caesarean section.

Although she will get through the procedure, it is touch and go whether her daughter, with Martin (James Bye), will survive.

It has undoubtedly been a rocky road of recent months for the couple, but are their problems only about to get 100 times worse?

Elsewhere on Albert Square, Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) put their troubles aside and rekindled their romance.

A day apart was all they needed to convince each other that they couldn’t possibly be without each other.

EastEnders continues Monday on BBC One at 8pm.
