EastEnders spoiler: Sonia Fowler return REVEALED after Bex's bullying causes 'distress'

Tonight’s harrowing episode saw Bex (played by Jasmine Armfield) be tricked into eating cat faeces by her horrific bullies.

The poor school girl was visibly broken and as she sobbed on her bed viewers finally saw her call her mum, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy), for the help she so badly needs.

Sonia is expected to make her dramatic return in scenes due to air next week.

After discovering the extent of her daughter’s bullying, Sonia is on the warpath, and she is out for Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) who she thought was Bex’s friend.

After Louise is left horrified by her own actions, Sharon is also disgusted whilst Sonia heads to the school to ensure that the bullies are dealt with.

EastEnder’s viewers flocked to social media to call for Sonia’s return, with one saying: “Guess Sonia’s maternity leave is over. This bulling storyline is uncomfortable to watch. Hopefully she’s back to kick their butts #EastEnders.”

Another added: “Thank god Sonia is back next week lets hope she can put a stop to this and sort them nasty vile bullies out poor Bex #EastEnders.”

A third commented: “Sonia’s on her way back to sort it all out! #EastEnders.”

A fourth tweeted: “Sonia will be back to save the day next week! Hate watching it. Bullies are absolutely vile. #EastEnders.”

EastEnders continues tomorrow night on BBC One at 8pm.
