Thrown into turmoil when she is faced with the tough decision of finally signing the consent form for the process, Denise (played by Diane Parish) is having second thoughts.
With Kim (Tameka Empson) pleading with her to rethink plans to finalise the papers, will Denise actually go through with giving her child up?
Kim also believes she now knows who the baby’s father is after Denise hid the fact that recovering alcoholic Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is the daddy.
In despair over the current state of Albert Square, Denise decides enough is enough and calls the Walford Gazette.
In tomorrow night’s episode, residents will fume about Denise’s outspoken comments to the Gazette, so with her losing sympathy after berating the state of the local community, will anyone her her fight future battles against Keegan Baker (Zack Morris)?
Life is not plain sailing for Denise at the moment after making an enemy in the violent schoolboy.
Keegan will once again confront Denise in the Minute Mart, but luckily Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) jumps to her defence.
Has Keegan finally met his match in Kush as he sends him on his way?
Unimpressed with Denise’s newspaper remarks, the Minute Mart area manager also pays a visit, leaving her job at risk.
Sticking up for her sister, Kim is planning to confront the area manager before he meets nervous wreck Denise.
Later in the week, Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) tries to get through to Ian (Adam Woodyatt) before he gets a scare on Shrove Tuesday, leaving his wife to take control over his health situation.
Shakil Kazemi (Shaheen Jafargholi), Kush’s brother, is left worried by Keegan’s plan, Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) is annoyed when she realises what Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) has been up to, and Bex Fowler’s (Jasmine Armfield) world is turned upside down.
EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One at 8pm.
