EastEnders: Fans believe BBC have MISSED an episode as Stacey Fowler makes rapid recovery

On Monday, Stacey’s (played by Lacey Turner) life was hanging in the balance after suffering a series of complications following a seizure.

After delivering a baby girl during an emergency caesarean, she lost a lot of blood and was taken to intensive care.

However, despite the doctor implying Stacey was on death’s door, she appeared in good health during last night’s episode.

Stacey was seen sitting up, chatting to her husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) who stayed by his wife’s side as she recovered in hospital.

The confusing scene saw viewers flock to social media with many asking if they had missed an episode of the BBC One soap after watching Stacey’s extremely quick recovery.

One concerned  viewer wrote: “Why does it seem like every time I watch #Eastenders I’ve missed an episode when I haven’t!! Stacey was in ICU yesterday and is fine now??”

“B****y hell Stacey made a quick recovery yesterday she was in ICU now she’s sitting up in bed #eastenders,” noted one person.

A third added: “@bbceastenders what is it with #bbc missing episodes. Stacey was in intensive care yesterday #eastenders.

“Whaaaaat. Have they skipped an episode? I thought Stacey was in a critical way? #EastEnders,” said another viewer.

EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One at 7.30pm.
