During an interview with Adam Lyons, a man with two girlfriends, Eamonn appeared up for adding another party into the relationship.
The 57-year-old turned to Ruth, saying: “We have so much we would like to discuss and share with you.”
However, his wife of the same age shut down the idea, saying: “Only in a mental way.”
But plucky Eamonn didn’t stop there, urging Ruth: “I think that’s something you should open your mind to.
“All I want is a nice partner. I just want someone to say, ‘Yes Eamonn, that’s lovely,'” he added.
Throughout the chat with Adam and his two girlfriends, Ruth vocally opposed the relationship dubbed as a “throttle”.
The presenter told the trio: “I’m a woman and I would be jealous and I don’t like the fact I would be.”
However, one of the girlfriends Jane reassured Ruth that she does not have “romantic jealousy” when Adam is with his other girlfriend Brooke.
She explained: “I have jealously missing out on memories. When they said they were coming to London, I was jealous because of the fancy dinners and the shows.”
Elsewhere on This Morning, a man with a micropenis shocked Eamonn and Ruth when he used a cardboard cut out to simulate his erectile growth.
