Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford spent a lot of today’s instalment of This Morning discussing the adverse weather, and the affect it is having on the country.
While the UK fends off Storm Emma, ITV has sent Toff to Los Angeles this week in preparation for the Oscars.
But viewers witnessed a hilarious blunder, as they saw the entertainment reporter caught unawares when Eamonn and Ruth passed over to Toff without warning.
Moving on from the cold, Eamonn began: “Toff, you’re certainly not feeling the cold, are you?”
The camera switched over to see Toff balancing her head on her hands, as she stared blankly into the camera.
As a member of the crew walked in front of her, she became wide-eyed as she realised that she was live on air.
Reacting to Eamonn’s question, she replied: “Uh, no. No.”
As Toff continued to smile awkwardly at the camera, the presenters reclaimed control of the show.
“I don’t think she was expecting that,” Ruth commented.
One fan on Twitter commented: “Haha. Toff caught unawares. #ThisMorning.”
Earlier in the show, Ruth commented on Catherine Tate’s dog not wanting to poo in the snow.
She revealed: “I wouldn’t be squatting down and doing that either. It’s a bit cold.”
