Love Island 2019 welcomes a new arrival in tonight’s episode (Sunday, June 9) as model Danny Williams joins the rest of the cast in the villa. Danny is the second new arrival of the ITV2 series following Molly-Mae Hague’s introduction a few days in. Here’s all fans need to know about Love Island’s new boy Danny.
Who is new Love Island 2019 arrival Danny Williams?
Danny Williams is a 21-year-old model from Hull and the latest Love Island 2019 cast member.
Love Island fans will witness his arrival in the villa in Sunday night’s episode.
ITV’s newest reality star promises fans he’ll be an “entertaining islander” as he hopes to catch the eyes of one of the six girls.
Danny says in his pre-entrance interview: “I’ll be an entertaining Islander. I’ll be a good friend to people before I fall in love with anybody.
“I think that is one of my best qualities, I’ll be a good friend, someone people can trust.
“I’ve always got peoples’ back and that’s what I pride myself on. In terms of being a Love Islander and trying to find love, I’ll be funny, probably a bit cheeky but I do like to have a laugh.”
However, Danny thinks his good nature could turn out to be his downfall once he enters the villa.
Danny said: “Sometimes I’m too trusting, I could get mugged off and leave myself open to being vulnerable.
“It’s a good and bad thing but also I always see the best in people and always give people second chances.
“And sometimes, I’m not serious enough, especially with girls in the past, I’ve been guilty of being too laid back, too relaxed and chilled out.
“Good things are that I’m easy-going and I think that’s really important to be friendly and approachable.
“That’ll be a good trait to have in the villa. Also, I’m trustworthy and loyal!”
When it comes to Danny’s type, he puts ambition and drive above looks.
The model told ITV: “She would be ambitious, powerful, she wouldn’t be scared of much and she knows who she is.
“A massive thing for me is personality. In terms of looks, I would say someone who is into fitness and keeping themselves healthy.”
Whether Danny’s charm will pay off in the Love Island villa will be determined by the time of the next recoupling.
Callum Macleod became the first islander dumped from Love Island 2019 and Danny will be hoping he isn’t the second.
At the time of his arrival, the cemented Love Island couples are:
However, it appears only Joe and Lucie, and Curtis and Amy are the only pairings with a romantic connection.
Love Island 2019 continues on ITV2 on weeknights and Sundays at 9pm.
