Dancing on Ice 2019: Gemma Collins BREAKS DOWN after FALLING on the ice

Stacking it during her Dancing on Ice performance, Gemma was left in tears.

Performing a routine to Céline Dion’s It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Gemma seemed to be concentrating hard on her performance.

However, as the song came to an end, Gemma and her professional skating partner Matt Evers skated solo momentarily.

As Gemma rushed forward, she lifted her right leg back and fell forward at speed.

Hidden under the dry ice, Gemma was pulled out of the haze by Matt after she struggled to get up.

The contestant hugged her partner once back on her feet and began to break down.

She cried to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “Do you know what, in rehearsals it was so great!”

Her professional partner Matt said: “Unfortunately at the end there was that little trip but it was at the end and you got up.”

Ashely Banjo remarked: “I’m so gutted for you Gemma!”

Jayne Torvill noted: “It’s so disappointing!”

Christopher Dean said: “Unfortunate about the trip.”

Falling flat on her face, the presenters feared Gemma may have given herself an injury, with Phillip commending her on the routine.

One viewer tweeted a video clip of Gemma’s fall, captioned: “Comedy moment of 2019 goes too…… Gemma Collins.”

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan jumped to Gemma’s defence.

He replied: “Actually, the gutsiest thing I’ve seen on any talent show for years.

“Fell flat on her face, probably hurt like hell in every sense, but got up again & received her best score. Bravo @missgemcollins.”

Gemma and Matt scored a total of 16.5 points, their biggest score of the series so far.

However, this still puts the pair in bottom place. Will they be safe tonight?

Later in the show, Gemma was missing from the line-up, with Matt revealing she was in physio.

2019 continues next Sunday on at 6pm.
