The 25-year-old Coronation Street actress was competing head-to-head against former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Jake Quickenden, 29, and rugby ace Max Evans, 34, in a bid to be crowned Dancing On Ice champion 2018.
However, speaking to Phillip Schofield after the winner was announced as Jake, Brooke teased her rival and took a swipe at him.
She laughed: “First the worst, second the best!
“Well done to Jake and Vanessa. Are you sure it’s not a fix?”
After enjoying the Dancing On Ice afterparty last night, Brooke took to the airwaves this morning to speak out about the “fix” and not winning.
Brooke said: “Do you know what? I’m okay. I thought I’d be absolutely gutted!
“But my mum and my family and just everyone backstage has just like picked me up every week and swept me up.
“It was such a good experience. Last night I just made sure I enjoyed my skates.”
The Dancing On Ice runner-up revealed that it has been tricky trying to juggle her Coronation Street schedule with her skating commitments.
She said: “You’ve constantly got to be on point with dates and times and where you’ve go to be.
“Sometimes I was taking my skates to Roy’s!”
Brooke also announced she would not be taking part in the tour after finishing in second place, saying: “I can’t do the tour because of work.”
Speaking to Key 103, Brooke added: “My body has changed so much from all the exercising so it’s been fun and fitting as well.”
Following her second performance of the night yesterday evening, host Phillip said: “I wish the judges were scoring tonight.
“You would have got your tens this week!”
Dancing On Ice is available to watch on the ITV hub now.
