As the team of celebrities dashed around the famous Aztec zone, the famous dancer was keen to prove his talents.
However, as Louie tried to balance the scales using bags of sand to release the crystal, disaster began and he fell in the water.
Ignoring his teammates – which included Ore Oduba, Vicki Pattinson, Lydia Bright and Alex Brooker – Louie didn’t leave the puzzle room in time.
When it dawned on him that he was locked in the maze, the 48-year-old dancer began to kick off, firstly banging on the door asking to be let out.
Despite his best attempts, his famous team mates refused to use an all important crystal right away to save him.
As host Richard continued with the show, Louie was feeling left out, throwing his shoe through the door’s window to get someone’s attention.
After that failed, he then stripped off his iconic Crystal Maze jump suit, leaving everyone in stitches.
The joke was soon over though as head team mate Alex decided to save Louie for the final round.
The Crystal Maze continues next Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
