Crash Bandicoot PS4 trailer shows off impressive N Sane Trilogy gameplay

The Crash Bandicoot PS4 remaster is by far one of the most highly anticipated remake project confirmed for 2017 so far.

While fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are hoping to see Activision announce something in the coming months, at the moment we have the new N Sane Trilogy.

Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy releases June 30 on PS4 and will include a collection of some of the best games from the original series.

The new PS4 trailer from Sony showcases gameplay from the Crash Bandicoot 2 level Hang Eight, which features sneaky venus Fly Traps, which try and take you out among the rapids and waterfalls.

All the classic gameplay looks to be included, although a question remains on whether fans may see the game launch on other platforms.

The Crash Bandicoot remake on Xbox One seems like it could be a real possibility now, following a recent message from the PlayStation Ireland Twitter team.

Having initially told fans that it would be a PS4 exclusive,  a recent tweet has thrown cold water over it, reading: “To clarify our earlier post, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.

While this doesn’t confirm a Crash Bandicoot Xbox One release, it does seem to point toward something perhaps happening in the future.

The Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy was recently given a June 30 release date for PS4, with the surprise reveal taking place after Activision posted a countdown teaser with a brief trailer.

Development of the Crash Bandicoot Remastered Collection will be handled by Activision and the team behind Skylanders, Vicarious Visions.

And if the new game does well, there’s always a chance that a brand new Crash Bandicoot adventure will be released in the future.

That’s according to a member of the development team, who told Express Online: “Obviously we’re fans. Everybody wants to see a new Crash game.

“I’m onside with everybody else. We’d love to see as much Crash as possible. It’s really cool that he’s really making a comeback right now.”

It seems almost a certainty that a new Crash Bandicoot release is set for the future, especially considering the buzz surrounding the buzz of the remake launch later this year.

While Activision have made no commitment either way, it seems likely that a new game will be released as long as sales on the PS4 prove robust.
