Anita Rani joins the likes of Adam Henson, Matt Baker, Charlotte Smith and many other Countryfile stars to bring some festive cheer to BBC Two this evening. Despite ongoing coronavirus restrictions, the Countryfile team have managed to put together a festive episode which takes a deep dive into the running of farms during the Christmas period as well as sharing some handy tips and tricks with viewers to make the big day extra special. However, when she arrives to meet Adam for a segment on his farm, it’s fair to say Anita isn’t best pleased with his attire.
During tonight’s Countryfile special, which sees the cast head north to Auchlyne estate in Scotland, Anita pays a visit to Adam on his farm.
And the BBC presenter is clearly feeling festive as she wraps up warm in a red beanie and Christmas jumper.
Hoping her co-star is feeling the same festive cheer, she’s keen to see what Adam has on for the special occasion.
However, she’s quickly disappointed after greeting the famous farmer.

“Hello, Anita,” Adam shouts as he watches her walk up the drive towards his home.
“Hello, Adam,” Anita chirpily replies before asking to see what funky Christmas attire he had on.
“Okay after three,” she tells her colleague. “Reveal the Christmas jumper!”
Anita opens her coat to show the words “A Very Merry Christmas” adorned over the front of her top.
Adam manages to see the funny side of Anita’s disappointment, however, as he lets out a laugh at her festive spirit.
“You can be my chirpy little Christmas elf to help me (instead),” he tells Anita.
Spotting Adam isn’t going to waiver on his stance on wearing the festive knit, Anita concedes: “Well, that’s why I’m here.”
The two head off into the farm to get their hands dirty while Charlotte gets to grips with baking some Christmassy treats for everyone.
