In the episode, Kate Connor (played by Faye Brookes) managed to convince The Bistro owner Nick Tisley (Adam Rickitt) to give her a trial behind the bar.
And eager to please the boss, she got to work straight away but made a very amusing error.
Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) popped in for some cheering up after a row with her secret boyfriend Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Kate suggested sharing a bottle of white wine with her friend.
The newbie got the bottle from the fridge and placed it on the counter alongside a large glass but viewers noticed one important element was missing.
It appeared she didn’t notice the bottle was actually empty.
Viewers flocked to social media to point out the noticeable gaffe.

“@itvcorrie doesn’t look like white to me! She can’t be serving empty bottles her trials not going well,” another concerned viewer wrote.
