Coronation Street: Viewers in SHOCK as Michelle Keegan ‘RETURNS’

The actress played Tina McIntyre from 2008 until 2014 but was killed off in a dramatic showdown when she was murdered by Rob Donovan.

However, fans thought she had came back from the dead as they spotted a look-a-like during the instalment of the ITV series.

Those watching at home thought the 30-year-old had returned as a Weatherfield Gazette reporter who went to interview Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) after she announced she was running for mayor.

Many viewers flocked to Twitter to express their shock as they noticed similarities between Michelle and former Hollyoaks star Saira Choudhry who played the character.

One person wrote on Twitter: “Did anyone else think that the reporter for Sally was actually Michelle Keegan? Looked and sounded just like her #Corrie.”

“Thought Michelle Keegan had returned from the dead on #Corrie today @itvcorrie @michkeegan,” said another.

Another was startled: “Anyone else spotted the Tina look-a-like in Corrie? It’s unreal! #corrie #michellekeegan #TinaMcIntyre.”

One fan was adamant the two were related: “That has to be Michelle Keegan’s sis/cousin on #corrie so alike.”

Saira, 29, is most known for playing Anita Roy in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks from 2008 until 2011 and went on to star in No Offence as PC Tegan Thompson.

Coronation Street continues Wednesday on ITV at 7.30pm.
