Coronation Street spoilers: Viewers spot HUGE blunder as Phelan murders Luke – did you?

Following an intense chase, Luke (played by Dean Fagan) was shot at by the soap villain before he was burned alive in his car.

Phelan (Conor McIntyre) could be seen aiming at the petrol tank to set the car on fire after he shot through the car window to injure Luke.

But as he took aim at the vehicle, many of those tuning in to the long-running soap were quick to point out a huge blunder.

Fans of noted that when Phelan fired the first shot through the window, there was no bullet hole.

“@itvcorrie great surprise with the shooting and explosion! Couldn’t help but notice the continuity error though. The windscreen wasn’t cracked from the bullet, when Phelan drove off #eagleeyed,” one viewer wrote.

Another added: “When Phelan was reversing his car ready to blow Luke’s up… where had the smashed window gone to from where the bullet had entered?!?! #ispotamiscontinuity #greatepisodethough #ripluke.”

A third continued: “Luke got shot through the windscreen, in next shot it’s intact? Tut tut continuity! #CoronationStreet.”

Speaking about his death, soap star Dean commented: “He [Phelan] has now killed again which is a desperate act and one that is going to eventually start more questions being asked.”

He went on to note that watching his own death scene was like an “out of body” experience.
