Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford) finally told Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) she was responsible for getting her in trouble with the police, in last night’s episode of Coronation Street.
The florist owner admitted she tampered with Michelle Connor’s (Kym Marsh) car, which led to a deadly car crash last month.
She feared going to prison and let Abi take the blame for the malfunction of the vehicle, which resulted in her being arrested and losing custody of her young twins.
In the latest instalment of the ITV series, Abi relapsed – retuning to drink and drugs to cope with the trauma of having her children taken away from her.
During the show, the distraught mother-of-three found out what Tracy had done and told her son Seb (Harry Visinoni), who, then, trashed Tracy’s floral shop.
Protecting her son, Abi took the blame for the wreckage at Preston’s Petals when the authorities turned up.
Later, Tracy discovered Seb was the real culprit and arrived at No.11 to tell Abi she knew he did it.
“I get that you’re trying to protect Seb, but you have to tell them it was him,” Tracy told Abi after she was pulled through the doorway.
Then, the businesswoman tried to explain why she let Abi take the wrap for her mistake, however the angry mechanic did not accept her explanation.
Threwing Tracy up against the wall, she sneered: “You tell anybody it was Seb, anybody and I will destroy your family one by one starting with Amy.”
“Oh yeah, I’ll do it alphabetically. Now get out,” she shouted, with Tracy left shaken by the encounter.
Will Abi really take matters into her own hands and tear Tracy’s family apart bit-by-bit?
However, fans of the show suspect Tracy might contract HIV after coming into contact with Seb’s blood when she touched a broomstick.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Tracy is going to be at risk of HIV now,” while another said: “Poor Tracy has caught Seb’s HIV.”
A third tweeted: “What if Tracy has a cut on her finger! Karma would really come back to bite her.”
Someone else commented: “Tracy touched the sweeping brush that Seb’s blood was on and Seb has HIV. I am fearing for Tracy now.”
Another commentator said: ”Tracy is going to get HIV now,” while a sixth person penned: “Abi or tracy to get HIV off that broom handle?”
Meanwhile, Somebody else asked: “Is nobody else concerned that Seb has HIV and Tracy touched his blood?”
Another stated: “Oh dead, blood on the broom Tracy and he is HIV.”
Coronation Street continues Friday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
